So sad I have only done 6 battles --- can't even find someone to fight

i think the algorithm is more something like that:
all players of 3rd place gains 20X gold
all players of 2nd place gains 30X gold
all players of 1st place gains 50X gold
if you add gains of each players on top3 places, your result is the main prize of the tournament:
X is determined by the number of winners and by the main prize:
M=main prize
X=M divided by (50*number of players at 1st place+30*number of players at 2nd place+20*number of players at 3rd place)
this way, 1st place always give more gold than 2nd place, and 2nd place more gold than 3rd place.
it would be a lot more logical like this.
but if you are right, i'd better have lost my last battle to reach bronze instead of silver.
at CL 12 there are 6 players with silver, and only 2 with bronze.
for silver: 30% of main prize to split between 6 players = 5%each
for bronze: 20% of main prize to split between 2 players = 10%each
2*more gold for being 3rd than for being 2nd, it's weird |
Over all levels 1716 players participated of which 849 have either 0 or 1 victory.
As for the prize i thought it was like :
441500=2*0,5*x+1*0,3*x+3*0,2*x
so first place is 116k
second place is 70k
and third place is 47k
Thats sad :(

You get a lot of fun battles, you get CG and faction points
This its a joyful time, more tournys like this.
Cannot see why people make everything about gold, this its a game and the gold its here to be spend on fun. And MT its one of the most fun things in my opinion. |
Of course fun is the more important thing but it doesn`t revove the fact that some thing could be changed in the way Prices are divided in Tournaments.
Same here in Minor Tournament or in Survival Tournaments.
Discarding the fact that maybe reward prices cost not compensate artifact cost, is not very logical that a 3rd place got more gold than a second place.
Im not sure but I think in Minor Tournament:
1st got 50% main price / participants being 1st
2nd got 50% main price / participants being 2nd
3rd got 50% main price / participants being 3rd
So if there were 10 1st , 5 2nd and only 1 3rd, 3rd place will get more than 1st and 2nd, and 2nd will got more than 1st
Maybe someone can clarify this.
In ST there other curious thing.
For example in CL12:
Main: 336,400
Incentive: 145,600
Main is divided between 7 facctions , and each part is 50% for 1st, 30% for 2nd and 20% for 3rd.
The curious is that because the low participation only Elf and DE have 12 participants and the others factions 9, 8 or 7.
Then the incentive is divided only between 1st elf and 1st DE, wow 72k as incentive each wiiner in Elf an DE and none for the winners in the other facctions that only get 24k for 1st place and 0 incentive.
I dont think being 1st as DE o Elf with 12 participants were much more difficult than being 1st in the rest.

Most logical distribution system, and simple aswell would be:
2 people are 1st place => both get 40%, since the 50% and 30% are added up and divided between them. 3rd gets 20%. |
