Well ,there is already an idea before like this as a player asked for a notification box for everything.But I think a notification box should be needed only for some important features for the game.
Idea 1:
If I create a thread in a forum,then there should be a "LIKE" or a button like something like that.So if some one likes that thread and he comments or likes that thread,then he and the thread creator should receive that "XXX has commented on your thread" or "XXX has liked your thread".So it will be easy and we can see that quickly instead of searching our created in forums.
Idea 2:
We should have a notification for transfers from others players,empire or rent,repair or smith.So the notification will be like "XXX has transfered you YYY gold","empire has transfered you YYY gold",and many like that.
Idea 3:
There should be a automatic message send by administration saying "You are banned.Link :http:\...........com:This message is generated automatically".So that we need not waste time for going to forum. |

For idea 1:
The feature like facebook will make more attraction towards to lords.So more and more new players will get interested in playing lords then.For that,it will be easy for players to see how many likes there were in hi/her thread.So that thread can gain reputation. |

idea 1: you could just go and read the thread you create or commented by you. there is no need for a notification. like button also quite useless since normally we express it in words.
