i have got some queries ...
are talents "resistance" & "barrier" one and the same?(yes)
will it give u 40% magic proof if u have both (yes)
n does magic proof means u will be 40% less effected by chaos & darkness kinda spells that harm u..(40% in this case)[are there any more spells that get effected]
where can i see how much % magic proof are my troops?
i don't remember much but i guess when i used to press
ctrl+enter twice in a combat i used to get all the stats..
but i can't see magic proof 20% though i have resistance in my talents.. |
you dont get talent effect in that pane.
plus 20+20 doesnt become 40 i think it becomes 34% or something |

all those resist will not sum up in such way.
barrier and resistance give 20% each.
so, the final damage taken in math calculation will be:
1 [received full damage] - 20% [barrier] = 0.8 [1st final damage ratio]
0.8 [1st final damage ratio] - (0.8 * 20%) [whatever left for resistance to reduce] = 0.8 - 0.16 = 0.64 [end damage ratio]
so, take example you receive 100 dmg from spells, with barrier + resistance, you will receive only 0.64 of the 100 dmg = 64 dmg; on other words, you have 36% resist when you grab from both talent. |
