learning chinese doesnt means you must get someone from china for the teaching.
you can find chinese in other regions; of course, the purity of the language will be another story. those chinese language had been localization (mix with other local language, slangs) to fit into different regions.
in fact, chinese language is a huge collection. it had alot sub sets such as Hakka, Cantonese, Sei Chuan and etc. each of them have different verbal pronouns, words, grammar and etc
the so called China chinese (language, for most people knew) was categorized as Beijing chinese since china official declare it as standard. you will found taiwan use ning nam (similar to hokkian in certain region), hong kong use cantonese. although they were different, but all were belongs to the chinese language (collection)
yet, why dont you search for a language teacher in RL; rather in LWM. it isnt easy and take long time to learn a new language; and i assume LWM players wont patience enough for that XD

learning chinese doesnt means you must get someone from china for the teaching. there is chinatown in almost every big city in the world. you can go there to learn chinese. :)
