A very good idea, and nice to see some initiative!
I don't think lack of gold is a problem (al though it would be nice if we could use it) Honour and bragging rights will be sufficient ;o)
Your own clan-mate syrian is creating an MC clan that would be a good way to organise this, it has the backing of almost all the MC's and will therefore be very helpful in the planing progress.
There is some complications with duels when they are not random, people can custom build their hero after the opponent, in a rock-paper-scisor match it is important that you decide the build at the same time. But this can only be solved by making it more complicated, maybe having a system set up for finals and semi finals only where they have to repport to a third party their build, so both act only from the knowlede of the opponets faction and nothing else.
And I need a person in the clan with web-page to publish the results of battles, draws etc.
This can be done in more pages than one, I will happily post it on WG site, it is add free and can be viewed by anyone. Then others can post it on there clan site as well.
** Finishing thoughts
Doing an event is always more difficult than you think their will be small and big problems.
Therefore my advice is to keep it simpel, and only go ahead with it if you want to invest the time.
You have to work hard on anything!
That being said hope you get it up and running, I will surely be joining such and event :o) |
