I still have one tournament attempt, and the link 'join' is still active. |
| If you do any non-tournament battle you will lvl up but say you attempted 4 chances of the 5 given to you then attempting a hunt will result the deduction of one change on the particular level and the remaining one chance will be carried on to next lvl. |

to answer the original question:
If you do any non-tournament battle, you will level up automatically. If you haven't done all 5 attempts at the survival tournament yet, you can still do it at the new level.
