I listed those in order of my preference. There are other matches but still, those are some stellar ones that can easily headline any other WWE PPV and they are all in one!
Now for all you "wrestling is fake", so are all the tv programs like Supernatural (by the way my number one favorite show on tv), Nikkita, comic books, movies etc etc... I appreciate it just like all the other aforementioned types for its "entertainment" value.
Some movies suck, just as some episodes of Raw, SmackDown and TNA do but some are good and if you just like the show you can forego the things that turn others off.
Well now that I got that out the way...

First one I have been so stoked about in a looooong time. Ok well last years was exciting due to Triple H and Undertaker, but that was the only thing. This year, dude :) I can't wait

Well it appears there is not a heavy following for wrestling here but non the less for those who do...there is a podcast call solomonster which is really good for those of you interested in listening and tuning in to him.

I used to watch wrestling when I was a child my younger brother watches it regularly and I also tune in for royal rumble,elimination chamber and wrestlemania.

| I remember when I was a kid Hulk Hogan and the Ultimate Warrior were all the rage. What happened to Yokozuna and Andre the Giant? |
Yokozuna was let go becuase he was getting so big he couldn't move around the ring anymore and he refused to lose weight.
Andre died over 18 years ago.
There currently isn't any type of replacement for Yoko but the new, well not new but next "giant" character is the Big Show. |
oh and just in case you were wondering Hulk guests once in awhile on TNA wrestling.
Ultimate Warrior was fired from the then WWF (now WWE, the name change back in 2002 is due to a lawsuit with another organization, World Wildlife Federation, in which the latter won) becuase he now showed on several events. He then later joined the now defunct WCW but was also fired for the same reasons.
Warrior currently has a show which I believe can be seen on youtube called "the warrior show" in which he fitness trains rock bands while berating them and cursing up a massive storm. |

Triple H vs Undertaker is going to be a Hell in a Cell match and just recently announced the special guest referee is HBK (Shawn Michaels)
So now the question is, will Shawn favor his buddy Triple H or will he screw him over by not allowing him to do what Shawn himself could not? And that's end the Undertakers undefeated streak at Wrestlmania (19-0) |

Depending on how physical this match gets this may well be the Undertakers last wrestling match. No official word on it yet but he had gone two surgeries last year after his bout with Triple H.
In other news the Divas match may actually be a televised instead of a dark match. Still no "official" word on who Beth Phoenix will face or if she will still be on the card.
For those of you who do not know what a dark match is, its a match that happens but is not televised due to lack of interest or if the company believes it will suck to be blunt about it. |

Hehe, well we will all find out April 1st. I plan on watching the pay per view and will post results as I see them. Even if I don't get it I will follow a live blog of it for results which will then be my source for posting here.
Also a little trivia for you guys, if any of you have wondered what the CM in CM Punk stood for, its Chick Magnet. When he first started wrestling he was apart of a tag team called the Chick Magnets, he was CM Punk and his partner was CM Venom. |
Also to clarify a few things.
Between all the contestants in the main events I wrote on, I averaged there ages and it came to 37.5 years of age.
Last year at Wrestlemania 27 Daniel Bryan vs. Sheamus for the U.S. title was turned into a dark match with lumberjacks. The match went to a no-contest. Teddy Long turned the match into a battle royal, which was won by The Great Khali.
They fought again recently in which Daniel won by disqualification. Daniel spat in Sheamus' face which caused Sheamus to go irate. He proceeded to beat the living tar out of Daniel but failed to stop while Daniel held on to the ropes causing Sheamus to be DQ'd.
And finally Andre "the Giant" Rene Roussimoff, the 7 foot 5 french giant suffered from a disorder call gigantism (irregular hormone production which causes abnormal growth, he was 6 foot by the time he was 12).
On January 23, 1993 he died in his sleep from congestive heart failure at a hotel in France. He was 46. Ironically he was there to attend his fathers funeral. |
Though its unofficial it appears that Kane will go against Randy Orton at Wrestlemania.
Kane's character has been relaunched because he felt he was too "human" and he wanted to rediscover the monster inside. He has once again donned a mask and has gone on a rampage interrupting matches and attacking any and everyone. One of them being Randy Orton who has chosen to fight back.
Here is some wrestling terminology for you who don't know. They call villains 'heels' and the good guys 'babyfaces' or just 'face'.
So Kane is the heel and Randy the face in this situation. I don't think Kane in this is actually being portrayed to his max potential. His 'dark side' seems more dim than dark. In their last encounter Randy dropped him with just one RKO (Randy's finishing move). The old Kane would have gotten right back up immediately but for the sake of progressing the story line between the 2 GM's they made Kane look weak and lay down for over 5 minutes acting injured.
Also Randy plays a much better heel than face so I don't see this being a very good angle or rivalry to further develop. Its probably being done just so they can at least be at Wrestlemania if nothing else.
Hopefully their actual match isn't as lackluster as the development of it has been. |
