They are additive, but that doesn't mean that if you are level 1 on each faction you'll get all level 1 bonuses. It means that if you are a faction level 5, you get the level 1 + level 2 + level 3 + level 4 + level 5 bonuses. That's what additive refers to.
Although, changing faction and gaining levels on every faction is good for late levels. In early levels you will get pwned in PvP if you play many factions, but later on you'll have a good build. What you gain from faction levels is 3% resistance per level against that faction, meaning if you have faction level elf 3 and you face an elf in PvP, any damage you receive from that elf will be decreased by 3*3%=9%. |
