I don't know about Level 9 but I needed only one attempt at Level 10.

Level 9 don't have Cerberi, though. Bigger stacks mean retaliation would still hurt even if AI stupidly charges at you and let you do first strike. |

Hmmm... Maybe you could forget all Offense talents and go all out Darkness. In my battle, my AI mirror image casted mostly Chaos magics. Having no Offense talents means that your mirror image will also not have those talents. I think the AI hero will benefit the least from Darkness talents while you can get creative with it. |
Thnx, while trying dark magic in CG/pvp, have a few questions:
Leveled up too :D
which one is better, confusion or weakness at expert level?
Its a vital decision between -12 attack and 70% confusion with 35 talent points. :S
or may be some other combinations? like other dominion talents at adv.dark level?

I recommend using dominion of mind (mass delay / confusion) if you want to go dark magic build.
Delay is really useful in team battles, while confusion is really useful against those 3 factions u mentioned :)
Weakness can be cast on the most dangerous stack individually. |

I lost.
How do you win in group battles?
How should I recruit my troops and how should I attack? With the dogs do I perform gating first or just make them attack first? With which units should I perform gating before, after making the first move?
At the moment: I have 54 spawns, 36 cerberi, 13 succubi, 9 horses with expert offense, battlefury and cold blade. I gate the dogs and the horses before moving.

1. First of all, I think that demon is kind of weak at those levels in group battles.
2. You should gate your troops outside of enemies range. Cerberi and horses are fast, no point in placing them were the enemy can hit. You can gate spawns near archers to prevent them from shooting.
3. Sucubi are to slow to gate and to weak to fight barb or knight archers. So you can either use them to shot down retail takers, or gate them near enemy archers.
4. And last, at level 10 I think you have more chances of winning in 3vs3 battles, playing with mass slow and/or mass confusion. |

| The ricochet shot bounces to the nearest enemy, but stops if a friend is closer than an enemy. Since your efks were only 1.5 tiles and the nearest titan was 2 tiles, it stopped. |
