| what is the point of clans? | Each clan has its own purpose stated on their clan page. For example, some clans are created to bond players of a certain nationality together, others to group players who like to play CG etc.

Military clans are different and more expensive to join. These were created for the purpose of game events and wars where Military clans compete.

If you are considering joining a clan, first you need to be at least level 5. Secondly, I would recommend that you check how active the clan is these days. Some were created long ago or have never been very active and would simply be a name on your profile after you joined. Too True! | | Please stay on topic! | It's almost like roulette, but clan leader (or whoever gets gold from members) playing role of scammer instead of Empire.
For member it's usually nothing good, except for beautiful (sometimes not) sign near his name. Sometimes members can be lucky, like in roulette, and get some benefit from clan, even more than they paid for joining. But those, who recruit always have profit.
And here's one simple rule: if someone has profit, then someone has loss, as it's logical, it's like you can't win, without someone's lose.
So members are losers. And those, who getting money are winners.
