As we have a rule that if one,lets say A, lend a loan to ,B.
B is not able to return loan and in some way lost all money(roulette ,multiaccing,etc).
The current rule say that the person is given 2x penalty .
Here when my idea comes in .
Rather than a penalty of 2x simply x amount is taken as penalty and x is given to its owner
OR
2x amount is collected and x is penalty to empire and another x is compensation.
This way people will not lose their hard earned money to some traitors both to this game and the person.
Example of second case.
Say A gave 120,000 gold to B for 1 month and B fails to return it .
B loses all money in roulette and has 0 balance .
B gets -240,000 penalty and 120,000 goes to A and 120,000 to empire.
This is a fair way to do it .
Also to prevent B from transferring artifacts as he wishes to leave or send artifact to multi so he doesnt have to pay penalty sum.B gets banned to transfer or sell an artifact for less than the market rate.
This way B has only 2 choice play and pay or leave.This way this system becomes even for all.

I think it best not to loan anything to anyone that you do not know, ever.
A few months in a clan and you know the people that you can trust.Otherwise just say "no". |

You are right , of course, to state the dangers and try to find a protocol to deal with it. I suspect though that as in life, there will always be victims of the unscrupulous no matter what rules are in place. |

Lets say i have a character A and i want play roulette.
I make a multi B
A gives 30k loan to B , B loose all money in roulette.
B gets -60k , A receive his 30 k and empire 30k more.
So -1
Loan only to real friends or not loan, but all of us know the risk of give a loan.
Its fine as its right now. |
hmm id rather state that a recieve only 60% loan back and rest 140% to empire..if the lender loses his money he will be more cautious to lend to stupid ppl

Right now its in this way :), learning from mistakes.
Thats because after loosing the money of 3 loans i have these options.
1- If I dont know the player and ask for loan --> block
2- If I know the character but Im not sure i investigate in his/her transfer log and:
2a) Say no 1st time or block 2nd time he ask.
2b) Lend a small amount of gold (if eligible after looking his transfer log)
3- If Im sure about the player ( only 2 or 3 people atm ) i can lend the money acording to rules.
But of course if you lend 50k to a person who has more than 150k in loans , play roulette loosing big amounts of money and expect he return your money.... keep expecting. :) |

Can easily be exploited
Save up gold first then spend it. Loan should be very rare, a lot more rare than they are now.
And never loan to people you don\t know, especially roulette players. |

This would simply be very much additional work to the administrator and would encourage the player to give out more loans, while others would just make more and more illegal multis, borrow money, have fun and that got blocked later.
I don't see any benefit there, only a lot of illegal activities and additional work. |
this is a seriously bad idea.
se if A is my main and B my multi.
I from A give loan to B and put all in roulette.
if B is a multi i dont need then if i lose no matter what i get my gold aback and i B wins i have 2 good golded accounts.
both ways its a win win situation no loss |
