Anyways I guess is this is all things DD, quest help, Pawn sharing, all that. Funny stories, whatever.
I guess mine is a funny story, I was fighting Goblins with a Guard of Gran Soren nearby, I saw him grab one, whiche I've never seen before, so I went in for a Blink Strike finisher to the battle, it slowed time and everything, with me stabbing the Goblin, but I was so close that my hand went into the Gobling and the sword looked like it was going through the Guard. Turns out it killed both guys, i wish I had taken a picture, but... is it weird I feel like Piccolo using special beam cannon to kill Raditz, while taking out Goku in his heroic first death? | | What are you talking about? | It's a game. Anyways, though this isn't a bump.
I was in the rift fighting a troll and he went to backslam my pawn climbing his back and I was clinging to his chest, he went right off the edge falling to the bottom of the rift, and for a good 10 seconds I watched as we plummeted, and when we hit the ground like the all but ton of fur and muscle that we were at the time, it killed the Troll, my quest got a ton shorter, and I had a pawn to laugh at for getting utterly obliterated to the point I had to pick him back up at the riftstone when I went topside. | | Where you're now? | I just finished the Wyrm Hunts because my game froze in the middle of saving so it corrupted the file and couldn't be restored. So I restarted, and reached where I was before in a third of the time. I just finished the Witch Hunt quest now I'm returning to Gran Soren to do some other and turn in another few.
Anyways another story. I was fighting Sulfur Saurians and pinned one to the ground, and my pawn shot it with a bow techniques that sounded like a gunshot (haven't seen this before from him so I think my friend must have upgraded his moves in the past 16 levels, he's also a ranger) and the saurian went flying off a cliff, with me still holding on to it. Me and the Saurian were devoured by the Brine, and I woke up in the middle of the battlefield with dead saurians everywhere. Oh... and... I kicked a bunny, and laughed hysterically. Does this make me a bad person? (The bunny is in the game too, duh) | Come on people! I just fought the Drake south of the Rest camp south of the Quarry. That was intense.
Le Bump. | | Skyrim is much better/ | Meh. I like being able to scale giant enemies and use gouge to drive my sword into them and twist the blade until they fall to their knee's, then I jump off and rip them to shreds swinging my blade in perfect arcs of light and steel.
Skyrim, meh. Swing a sword. Cast some magic. Maybe shoot an arrow. My friend the other day told me to 'Watch a weapon master at work'. So all he did was dual wield axes and walk in a circle around a giant and swing with no real strategy until it died.
Now, when a Cyclops comes my way in Dragons Dogma , I like to slow it down by putting it to sleep with my bow, quiver teeming with sleeper arrows. Of course that's after I've poisoned him, so now he's dying slowly. But wait! What's that?! My Pawn just cast High Bolide! Meteors everywhere's! Now this thing has almost no health, but my other pawn shoots an arrow that hits 10 times before passing through the things head, and my warrior smashes it with it's hammer. I jump on it's face and gouge my way through it's head, killing it, looting it, and being on my merry way.
Skyrim has weak little dragons anyone can kill, it takes a good amount of time to kill a Dragon in DD.
Btw, my friend was using a Weapons MAster set-up out of the Skyrim guide, I was using a Hybrid-class Assasin. For skyrim you swing a sword, for Dragons Dogma, you go all out with special abilities and timing. I'm okay with Skyrim. Heck, Dragons Dogma is kind of like Skyrim and Dark Souls. But it is it's own game, and I honestly like it better than Skyrim. Skyrim is a bit too... slow paced for a man of action like me. Ta-ta Skyrim Trolls, have fun with silly AI partners who keep getting themselves killed. I'ma go adventure with my single well trained sorceress.

I guess that is a possibility, I was talking to some friends the other day who play the same games as me, and it turns out they haven't heard of Lords of War and Money, but hey, I may have 2 or 3 new reference program things if my friends join! | I was doing "Duchess in Distress" and when you first get to her chamber up top, and your character lays down with her... hmm. Anyways, I found it ridiculous when you join back up with your pawns, they just get in the way more or less.
