I am so infuriated right now over this CRAP of a system with white hunts, yellow, red and red!.
I just got freakin DESTROYED by a WHITE!!!!! WHITE!!!!! hunt!!!
I don't care about how people cheated the system and made it harder to do a freakin basic white hunt, ummmm...ya know the ones that are suppose to be E....A....S....Y!!!!!!!!!
You know, the opposite of easy!
Remember all these grand updates announced over 2 years ago and a bare minimum is actually in effect?
Well how about...Taking one deep breathe now....hey creators of the game...can you fix this?
Hmmm...probably gonna be put into the complaint section by a mod or whatever the name is for this particular section.
Seriously, this is crap. When a game says this is an easy hunt, for some odd reason I tend to believe them, then here comes this WHITE hunt...
Fix this!!! I am not asking. I demand it. I don't care if I am banned because if I refuse to play if this is not fixed, the ban will be gone long before I care to see if this is fixed.
No cursing here. OOOOHHHH how I sooooo want to!!! I've defended this game to the point of getting a sticky to give this game more life!

next and last is, if a game tells you easy, medium, hard and very hard, how about we keep it that way?

| Blame it on the efficacy of Crossbowmen. Some other Knights before you must have exploited their effectiveness to make the "Easy" hunts really hard. That should have been easy if you kept your Crossbowmen on a corner with your swordies defending them. XD |

i think , frankly speaking to make the game more enjoyable they should do away with things like FPS , which affect the combat system.
After all its not like their giving real gold,their just changing the scripts to increase the gold,look at empire - tonnes of gold,and she's giving 50k salary to the employees.
I dont like this system of 10 minute hunts there should be one every 3-4 minutes for all levels,who'd wait 10 minutes for a battle that'd get over in 1 minute ?
also i remember (this is my 6 or 7 th account) my very first account which i created,it was just weeks after the .com server was inaugurated.
It was so much fun,enroll do hunts every 3 minutes play group battles without having to worry about the damn fsp. |
| The colour technically does not say easy, medium or hard etc, it is based upon how much higher the record is. Unless the record was set on a different rule system, or when AI was more stupid (eg cave demons) then it is a fair representation. It doesn;t therefore necessarily imply that if white it can be done in min arts. I sympathise with your situation however, though argue it is not in itself a major fault, it is however inconvenient that the colour is of less use and possible misleading, necessitating checking the actual hunter record for an indicator of difficulty. I know I must do this for any yellow hunts at the moment. I do not know if these are yellow because that is where the record is, or because no dwarf at my level has done a hunt yet. So I have to check where teh record is or if it is there, and often watch it to assess how difficult. Such is life. |
Additionally if you are referring your last hunt in this point the record was set by someone using good tactics with a decent land set up that restricted the sphynx guardians from doing so much damage

In comparison, you set up poorly with no single divided stacks to block them, less xbows, and rushed to fight rather than let them come to you.

I would say you have a chance of beating these in min arts if you changed your recruitment to not have griffs and played from a more defensive position. |

1. Game isn't about hunting.
2. You worry too much about FSP.
3. Current system is fine as it actually rewards you for trying out new factions. 280 FSP is nothing compared to the FSP required to get from FSL 10 to 11 but it gives you 15% resistance to a faction and you get to do interesting things with another faction. That, to me, is a great game feature. |

obviously, you miss something from other. perhaps, troops? AP? settle setup? tactic? talent? or maybe you just bad luck :)

Losing or winning, don't make difference if you did your best, and did everythign you could to win that fight...
This is a strategy game, like people said, your strategy style, settlement, are not according with the battle...
So you have learn a new tactic and play style (I hope) which you make you a better play, and turn easy things like that, also give you lot battles advantage on future...
And last thing, tier 6 are strong, if you want know if they are easy or hard, first analyze your level and your troops, and after analyze what you're fighting... |
| Speaking of unrealistic hunts, I don't quite understand how a Knight can "hunt" a bunch of farmers. Maybe a Necromancer would to get more skeletons or a Demon to feed their dogs but a Knight? I think there should be a back story for the Hunters' guild to explain why we're hunting people. Maybe they're cursed or bewitched by some malicious power? Maybe the Empress'es jealous evil halfstepsister or something. XD |

| I do only easy hunts myself and I don't bother setting up my troops sometimes. Easy mistake to make. I suppose casual players may have issues with the color scheme... |

The colors of hunt is strongly misleading, go to personal records and look at last hunt to see true difficulty.
Many has complained about this b4. Hard to set up a way to show diffculty but it could be nice if the colours says it represent how close you are to record and not strength. BTW it will only get worse in later levels.
