I recently got crushed by this demon;;;
I think it is one of the luckiest cases where:
*my 2 orcs coudn't take retal;
*8 succs dealt almost double damage as usual (without luck) in second hit
*wolves finished wolf rider in ONE hit;;
*the rocks blokcing my ogre to the 20 wolfhound
Is this lucky? or usual? |
Barb vs demon is not an easy battle but i think could be better this way:
Dont split orcs vs demon or necro , keep one big fat stack of orcs and shoot in the face of succubi or skells in first round.
Keep wolfs near orcs waiting till can do a good hit over wolfhounds.
Place ogres in front of orcs waiting too , orcs will be protected this way , and all melle troops of enemy will come near to ogres.
Take some small stacks of hobs to take retail , block or kill small stacks of spawns.
Take morale here is good for orcs , killing succubi as fast as possible is the key to win a demon. So in a min AP battle have a Medal of bravery + round shield i think is better than a defender shield. ( 2 less defense is not significative but +1 morale or +1 luck is really usefull ) |

Wolf Riders = Always lose.
Also you could make a better settlement, something to think about. |
I normally defeat all kinds of faction except magic necro and demon;;
I never fought a demon in lv 6 so yah;; |

If the barb have hobs, he can actually win me easily |
..I think it is one of the most balanced factions to battle: barb vs demon.
But I think demon is a little stronger than in these cases.. |

| Barb are not good if they only hope at their ogres , they also need some hobs and skills, hob are really good even 3 of them . |
| I see it is IMPOSSIBLE to beat a demon without hobs if the demon is skillful.... I already lost so many times to them. |
