Author | thief guild difficulty increase questions |
I have 2 questions:
1. I've read that when you level up combat level, TG caravan difficulty increases by roughly 20%. My question is, does the base difficulty increase or does the current difficulty increase? Or maybe both?
2. When you loseto a caravan, that certain type of caravan will be 2% easier next time. If you win then it will be 5% harder. My question is, are these percents exponential or linear? For Example, if i keep winning a certain type of caravan, will the difficulty increase like this:
40%, 45%, 50%, 55%... Etc..
Or like this?:
40%, 42%, 44.1%, 46.305%... Etc | 2. It will increase by 5% (if it is 5%, don't remember exactly) of the previous one. So, it's not linear, neither it's 40%, 42%, 44.1%, 46.305%... Etc. Even if you started from 40% (why start from 40% ?), the result would be more than that.
1. The base difficulty might increase by an unknown rate, giving the current difficulty an increase of 20%. | "Why start from 40%?". Just as a example | ok then :) thought it was for some reason ! | for TheMarsh:
@2:The difficulty of your last ambush is considered to be 100%
n then if you win next time you will see 105% of the prev. one
if you lose you will get 98% of the prev. ones
P.S : i am not sure about the numbers either! | Ah, sorry, now I get what you meant.
You asume the state of difficulty is 40% (where 100% is the normal TG at first time you do it). Then yes, this would be right : 40%, 42%, 44.1%, 46.305%... Etc |
