Author | Studying in the USA. |
During this year I plan to attend the US air force academy , but the problem is - I'm from Estonia (Europe) and do not know how to do that. Read a lot of information about what is necessary, what isn't, but nothing was said about - was it worth it? Is it hard to or not as for non-citizens?
Would like to hear any possible opinions, just to be crystal-clear - i need that or not... Any information would be very useful for me, thanks :) |
I study in the US too even though i'm originally Indian.
It takes some getting used to but soon, you'll be love it. For me,it was totally worth it.
If you want to ask questions, feel free to message me or post it here :) |
Well, of course there will be questions :)
On what programs do the foreigners can have ANY possibilities to get a chance to stay there, study and after get a good job? Or at least are there any programs made by the government to help the foreigners? |
Going to the USA is always worth it, even on holidays. The country is magnificent and you'll love it right away. I think if you get the chance to do it, you won't regret it. Don't hesitate because you're not a native speaker, within one week you're english will be going from normal to 'perfect'.
Don't know about going to college there, but ah, you only life once, don't regret anything ;)!
Besides you're willing to go the Number one leader in the world in warfare! Thats just..stunning.. |

Just google it mate. Do you have any particular university in mind? |
for StevieGerrard:
Google has only the basics, nothing more for newcomers.
USAF academy in Colorado Springs. |
Heard good things about that place.
Did you try going to there website and looking there? |
there
*their |
for StevieGerrard:
Tried everything and looked everywhere I could and so I'm here :)
Think about just to try to go there and ask by myself... But will be unnecessary to fly over the ocean just to ask a bunch of questions, if anything can be find without it. |
Actually, the correct word was indeed "there." Changing it to their was a mistake. Their is a possessive, while there is related to a place or position. |
@ Darkcanis: What is it that you are asking? In the beginning, you just wanted to know if it was "worth it." |
Hmmm... I can ask around people i know in the university circle if you want? |
for StevieGerrard:
Would be very glad, if that is not a problem to you, of course :)
for Deathbysky:
Under "was it worth it" are other questions :) like "is it possible" and etc. :) IMO |

Yes, and because "their" is possessive, it's the correct form, because the website is being bossed by them (the Airforce Academy) |
possessed*, silly auto-corrected changed it to "bossed" lol |
My bad, I only looked at the there at the end of the sentence, not the one in the middle :D |
