I have question about repair -
Is it worth to repair a shop art for say 40% cost to 60% durability or its wise to buy again?
As this repair would reduce cost per battle,its also reduce the inventory reselling price!!

Sometime repair is profitable, but not in all time.
Best way is to sell item and buy a new one. |
I agree with that but want to know if there's a calculator to find it.
Like some 1 offering 70% repair for 50% cost I cant find that in ur table.
P.S I know about ur page as I use it from lvl 8 but that % calculation I don't get |

A good rule of thumb is, for regular (shop, unenchanted) artifacts, don't take a smith's offer unless the cost of repair is no more than 80% (numerically) of the repair level. For example, if they do 70% repair, you don't want to pay more than (.8)(70%), or 56% cost; even 56% cost for this case is not worth the hassle for me.
Among the smiths that currently advertise for repair, only okdeil's, _Galandriel_'s, Persefona's, spartan300's, and Aspireus' offers are worth taking for regular artifacts. |

that is a very good deal for high dura shop arts, i.e. SoM.

value loss from dropping 0/80 to 0/79 = 242
4946 / 48 = 103 gold per use

Sorry, I'm too lazy to check. But you're absolutely right that 40% cost for 60% durability repair is worth it. That is spartan300's offer, which I already said is worth taking. Nothing close to "suspectable borderline financial aid" though. In fact, I consider the opposite true: if you take someone up on the 50% cost/60% repair, for example, I can only assume that the smith is your friend and you're just trying to help him out. |
