First of all, this is a General Game Forum related with general Game discussions and problems and this issue is a pretty serious one related to the game and needs at most attention from fellow members, though mods are free to move the thread to any other forum if the thread doesn't comply to this forum's local rules. Secondly, this is NOT an idea or a suggestion, what I am saying here is a practical thing which is going to be done, I am not asking admins to implement something here. So please do not misunderstand this for an idea and please do not move it to the I&S forum.
Now, many of you might have already guessed what I am trying to convey through this thread. Yes, it is about letting the accused in the C&A forum know that a complaint has been registered against them. Why does it need to be done?
It has been observed that many a times, players are simple penalised/blocked for some things which they sometimes have not been involved in. Whatever be the reason, an accused must always get the chance to defend himself/herself even if he/she is clearly in the wrong. That is only when real justice can function.
Now, there are many people who carry out this job, (of informing the accused that a complaint has been issued against them) including me, but I feel this is not working out very well since in a recent case, a person had not been informed about it. This means everyone who is accused does not even know that a complaint has been registered against them. What I propose is a team of players who need to just go through the C&A forums and PM the accused players and let them know that a complaint has been issued against them. This small help from your side might be a huge help for them. |

this require admin to create a form to fill in to report; the report will include the player name/id. after matching, the system will PM to that player. for this solution, you are asking admins to implement something here

No, you got me wrong! I have never asked for admins to do it! What I am asking is get together a team of players to do it. It is completely player-specific, and has nothing to do with the admins. |

| Agreed. Some good guys tend to do this for their "friends" ingame. But as things are at the momment, noone guarantees you that you'll get informed for a complain against you. |

The idea is good, but in order to work it must have a set of rules, both for awarding and penalizing the team responsible. And this can only be done with admins approval and help.
It is a lot easier to implement this rule toward the current admins/sages, as I feel it is our duty to inform the players that did something wrong. And even more, to explain to them so they won't repeat it unintentionally again. |

The idea has been previously discussed and some players even volunteered to do it. The only problem that has not been solved is the coordination. There must be a way to ensure that some accused do not get multiple notifications while some get none. It is not allowed to write a post about in the Justice sections since it is not additional information to the case.
This is in my humble opinion one of the cases where the forum rules are bad and should be changed.
I bet many players will help informing once the problem with coordination has been solved. |
| I personally feel that this should be implemented as when new players come into the game they make multi's and keep transferring gold to their main accounts (its not that everyone does it but some do). This leads to someone reporting them and then they get banned. This leads to loss of activity on this server. So I say that some people who want to help others should volunteer and make a squad or something and help people who are doing something illegal without actually knowing that it is not allowed. This way may even help to increase activity on this server. |

you will get this chance only in democratic world not this place mate, so not possible.

The use is that maybe for us we know the rules and would not break them but for some people who don't know the rules for them getting banned wouldn't be hard. As I said earlier people come play find out they have loss of gold 'cus of battles, create multi's, start illegal transfers, get reported and then get blocked. If for these people we just PM them saying that see man what you are doing is not allowed and all the stuff that you have gotten though such *illegal* methods should be returned. If they act on this message good for them and if they don't then they deserve a ban. Either way it is not hard for us to do and could help a lot of people .:) |

3 or 4 months back couple of players openly posted ther mistakes in Q&H and wanted to set right ther illegal activities. many mods and players helped. you know what happened, the next day to that complaints ther accounts wer blocked.

I don't like those sort of people and I feel everyone deserves a second chance and now that so less people are online hopefully only the good ones are remaining :). |

by my personal experience, whenever I write to somebody telling them 'hey, this is illegal', 1) they know fully and 2) either I don't get an answer, or they plainly tell me to go see somewhere else.
It surely start from a noble idea, but the truth is, you cheat when you don't *care* about rules, that are written, down and clearly (you don't even imagine the HUGE amount of people that told me "rules? No i didn't read them, and don't want to, just tell me what i can do and can't.."); and you cheat when you try to get advantage of something that wasn't designed and thought to work the way it does, as a loop.
In all cases, everyone will think that they are right and everybody else wrong, can't argue with a thickhead.
But a full ban is not a killing shot, it's the chance for the person to restart from scratch and play fair.
What I find unfair is for a person that cheated for months to be just fined, or given a second chance on that same account that got advantage of those cheats.
It's not just a matter of gold, the person often got other advantages that are hard to compensate (I.E., won more battles because better equipped, and got a better EXP/FSP ratio, but there are several other cases).
And if they didn't "waste time" looking for and reading rules, they don't deserve either that somebody waste his/her time to inform them they have a pending complain.
Only thing they deserve for their mistakes: Game over. |

What I mean here, is just to initiate some people to help others to get into the right track! And helping those accused at Q&H is a good step to start with!.

If someone thinks that helping someone else is a waste of time, he/she is useless to the whole world! A good citizen is someone who will go on and spare some of his time to help others who are ignorant about something important.

Don't listen to them. Will you lose your character (I mean the literary character, not the game character) if some dumb fellow calls you names? |

Nope, it won't. But it is just I guess to let the accused at least know they have been reported. |
