Based on the lines of the original Golden Duck Challenge by Ranor (https://www.lordswm.com/pl_info.php?id=4365385) https://www.lordswm.com/forum_messages.php?tid=1920873, here is a Tavern version of the same.
We have similar rules here as well. Anyone above CL 3 can participate in this. At the start, one person becomes the golden duck. If anyone challenges the player, the golden duck plays a tavern match to retain his title. If he wins, he becomes the golden duck again. If not, the title transfers to the player defeating the ex-Golden Duck. And this goes on infinitely. The long lasting Golden Ducks can brag about their achievements.
The location of the tavern game shall be decided by the challenger. If a golden duck is challenged, he/she has to do the card game withing a maximum period of 2 days, or else his title shall be transferred automatically to his/her challenger. If a golden duck is defeated, he can again be eligible for challenging the new golden ducks, but his victory streak counter will reset to zero. Golden cards are allowed.
