The purpose of this event is to stimulate the PvP experience on this server. The initial event is intended for lvl 14 players but similar events can be created for the other levels. And may also be handled in this thread or you can create your own.
The idea is for one player to start the challenge. Any opponent can subscribe to this thread and they will be listed in order accordingly. The first player then fight a duel against the first opponent on the list. The victor of this battle becomes the golden duck and will have to continue to defend this title against the next opponent on the list. He remains the golden duck until he looses against an opponent, this player will then have to take up the challenges of the next player and so on. Any player who lost a battle can immedeately subscribe again.
Battles and outcomes will be posted in this thread and anyone is welcome to comment on those. Ofcourse the golden duck can brag about his title and word his challenges in a flowery way.
After all the main purpose beside the increase in PvP activity is to get some fun.

A noble Lord of the grand capital travels with his troops along the trodden paths to East Bay who knows where he is headed. The day is very gloomy, clouds are blocking all the sunlight and from the nervous looks he casts around it seems he got lost.
As his way takes him along the edges of a dark wood the captain of his cavalery approaches him. "My lord we found some rusty weapons and armor, also there is this burial mound one of the guardians came upon. I think we are a the site of an old battle. The crossbowmen are getting itchy." "Notice taken! Return to the ranks!" The lord replied. As the words were leaving his tongue an owl hooted twice and all the other birds stopped singing. An eerie fog began to rise. In the darkness of the wood a slow and mournful chanting started and with a dusty creaking sound all of a sudden some of the bones on the field of battle took on live and began to form ranks.
A hollow and evil voice laughed out loud "I can feel the warmth of life treading upon this cursed ground. You do not belong here mortal – and you'll never see the sun shine upon you again." Striding out of the fog a whole army of undead blocked the path. The undead archers singing with their dusty voices "As you are so were we. As we are so you shall become!" In the back a man with his gleaming scythe looked over the battlefield, two bluish eyes looking out from under his hood. And although nothing can be seen of his shadowed face, you can't rid yourself of the feeling that he is grinning ... |

| Will this challenge be in min ap or max ap ? |
The challenges will be done in max AP, but if both participants agree to use lower AP it is up to them. I for instance will handle them as CG challenges and thus use full AP.
BTW the event is open end, as long as there are players who are willing to challenge the duck it can go on for infinity. |

Nec vs ELf
Vengy had unbelievable bad luck with ATB again. ALthough his units have 0.2 more initiative all 3 stacks of my shooter moved before him. Thus he was forces to attack with dragon and unis, which isn't the best choice for elfes as this battle proofed again. I think he did the best out of this miserable situation and I thank him for taking up the challenge.

looking for new opponents out there. Come on people I know might build is strongest for necs level 14 overall, but not vs tailored builds.
I guarentee to play it at least another 2 challenges. Shouldn't be that hard to find a faction/talent combination to overcome this build even with faction level 10. I could probably name 2 right from the start.
So all you lvl 14 out there come on and take up this challenge.
BTW any other level feel free to nominate yourself as golden duck and challenge other heroes of your level to beat you.
Some more battle to watch wouldn't go amiss with me :-)

Great battle , good beggining and in some moments battle was not determined but one mistake and my soul fall into Ranor clutches.

Well, I'd like to take the throne for my multi level 10 (nts, link below). I accept any kind of challenge (but I prefer CG, full AP)
