I believe people use the term "world ending" way too lightly. With the definition people often use, the world has already ended many many times and is constantly in danger of ending yet again.
When I read the news about Sandy, I'm like this is fairly common. Sure it's tragic and everything, but it's well within expectations for a disaster. No, I don't live in a hurricane prone region, but a natural disaster with much greater devastation has been predicted to happen in my region. |
