Well..Since we all go through this situation i have found some ways <Easy ones> which may help the slower internet connection members to play without the lag <like me :)>
->Delete or move the forum posts which keep on getting stockpiled one after another <only the old ones which no one reads anymore :)> (give the right to mods to make it fair? :D)
->Remove the count of old battles which go beyond 250 <i know some players want to review their successes we can use this idea https://www.lordswm.com/forum_messages.php?tid=1921394>
*i know if the player cheats before in gb or cg or duel such it would be a problem <but i hope u guys will figure it out:D>
This is it! ty for reading <sry fr bad english T_T> |

Makes no sense unless you want less topics displayed on first page.

Also no point because only 40 battles are displayed in log at a time.

Can be done by giving us ability to filter transfer logs of others to show fines. |
There is no severe server lag. Old battles and old forum topics don't add lag either. |
Some tips to reduce server lag
which may help the slower internet connection members to play without the lag <like me :)>
both statement has no relevance. if your connection is slow, then try change something in your computer like close unused application that require internet connection. |
As said before, your suggestions might make the server load slightly less, but that is not a cause for lag. You need a better internet line, a faster computer or a more intelligent browser. I think Opera is the one with the best cashing system, making it very fast. It also has a very nice turbo feature, making it the ideal choice for really slow internet connections.

Different people define "lag" differently. Some might find it acceptable for a forum page to take 5 seconds to load while others want it to load in under half a second.
But like others have suggested it's mostly your computer if you find forums slow.
1) Faster net (not just bandwidth, but response time)
2) Faster computer (hardware; maybe you need faster cpu or more ram)
3) Software (os, browser)
4) Software settings (there are various settings you can use to improve performance for os and browsers)
5) Disabling unused/unneeded applications.
6) Something is wrong with your computer such as adware, spyware, virus, your brother downloading vids thru the router you're using, etc.
But in keeping with the topic to reduce server lag:
Block / Disable all the heavy load scripters and dataminers. |
oh i understand now anyways, thnx for replying :) |
