1st - charging interest for loans is forbidden
2nd - you can post your complaint in C&A(https://www.lordswm.com/forum_thread.php?id=113)
3rd - its up to to the receiver to pay back the loan. you cannot force take your money back. Reporting him may give him a penalty of twice the loan sum

you have not mentioned the expiry period. So action will be taken only after 1 months which is the default return time. |

| Well, you can't get 5k under game rules but you are entitled to get the 4k back. So report him as said above, though if he doesn't, he'll be fined but you won't get your lost gold back. |
