rare artifacts - calculate costs per battle

Authorrare artifacts - calculate costs per battle
hello! forum search (old links) doesn't working, so i have to make this question again =(

so, how can i calculate costs per battle for a rare/unique/great hunter
/... artifact - are there any "special-art-calculators" or formula?

how often can i repair this special artifact? (i know, it depends from durabilty & repairing costs, but how exactly?)

===

let's make an example with this artifact:
Triennial pendant
https://www.lordswm.com/art_info.php?id=3year_amul

durability: 40/40
selling cost: 10 (to empire)
Repairing cost: 4000 (for example i would repair it for 102& of repairing costs, then: ~4080 gold)
price on market: 11000 gold (it is irrelevant, if i can buy it somewhere cheaper !)

Well, its the same for all arts:

([Original Price of art]-[Sell to empire price when at 0 durability])/[total durability of art]

Now for the rare arts, the sell to empire prices are way too low and can be ignored (except some I guess).

Depends on the art. Some rare arts are better to be disposed than repairing the same. If after repairing, the price of the art in the market for the art of the same durability after your art has been repaired is more than the repair cost, it could be worth repairing.

Now, going by your example:

When you repair it 90%, you'll get a final durability of 36/36. Considering market price of the art to be at 11000 gold for 40/40 art, the cost of 36/36 art of the same kind won't go below 8.5k (at the least). And the repair cost is 4080 gold. So its obviously better to get it repaired than to sell to empire.
I bought "skeleton hatchet":
https://www.lordswm.com/art_info.php?id=topor_skelet&uid=87939366
price: 5050
durability 1/52

So make it sense to repair this artifact for ca. 14422 gold (102% repairing costs (14280 gold) + 142gold tax = ). total price: 19472 ?
(new durability = 45/51)
... isn't it too much for this artifact ? (ok, it's rare, so i can speculate with the price)
so, nobody can answer my question =(

i want to know real price of the artifact, which depends from repairing costs, which are usually high for rare artifacts. Is there anywhere (maybe on russian clan sites) any programm which can tell me selling costs for any artifact
(i don't want to do this calculations by myself = boring...)(example: i win on some event an artifact, but how can i find out (without watching at market) the selling price of this artifact ?)

The answer is as usual ROCA. When it comes to value and repairs, ROCA is the best tool. It is not always simple to use, but it gets the job done. In this case it is very simple. Just enter the values in the tab called "Calculate cost per battle". You can easily enter different offers from smiths and see the result. ROCA always optimize for the lowest possible cost/battle.

With for example a smith offering 70% repair for 60% cost we get those values:
Your cost/battle: 122.46 gold
Total battles: 325
Times repaired: 12
Final durability: 0/28

ElfPride made an awesome guide to get started:

You get ROCA here:

The value of a rare artifact is very difficult to estimate. The best way in my opinion is to compare it with a similar shop art with a known cost/battle. Try different values for the rare art in ROCA. You are close to the real value when the cost/battle is about equal to the shop art.
woohoo! very big "thank you" !!! qatc
