Difference between the following two sentces.
Grants 15% magic proof. &
Grants 15% pierce through magic resistances when casting spells. |
first give 15% magic resist
second will give 15% damge over targets xx% magic resist |
magic proof: if you hit for 100 magic attack (fireball, magic arrow.. all but punch), your opponent will only receive (100-15=) 85 damage.
Pierce through: in the example above, you will hit for (100- (15*0.85)) damage, that is (100-12.75)=87 damage.
0.85 is because 15%= 0.15, and 100%=1, so 1-0.15=0.85. |
