What does it mean when it says that a spell..say delay..lasts for 0.5 Turns, 1 turn, 2 turn etc.. And also how can we know whether a spell like Delay is going to delay a creature's chance? Many times I have used it on the creature whose turn is next or next to next but no effect seems to happen. | One turn = 10 initiative = One hero turn (without any initiative boosting arts or talents).
.5 last for half your heroes turn (Wave your cursor over the 'wait' button on your hero's turn, and you'll see how long .5 is).
Things like delay reduce the initiative of a creature by a set percentage. That being said, it may not have an obvious effect short term if your efficiency isn't high or there are only very slow creatures on the field. Slow creatures have lower initiative (obviously), and delay reduces that small number by a small percentage. Therefore, not much effect, and may not effect ATB. As far as I know, there isn't an easy way to see the effect a head of time, unless you want to have a calculator and note pad handy every battle. |
