As an old timer i really miss the time when people used to go to chatrooms to get acquainted with people around the globe and make friends. Freely ask questions. Have a great time when a group of friennds gathered together in chatrooms and have loads of fun.
Forums are the good place for communicating but it just have been bounded with stricter rules. And i peraonally feel it is just not a good place to hang out as friends.
As a newbie back then, i made most of my friends through chat. Cune, tyrisia, lady z, the shaman., gurumao,sry,eddy immanuel,yuvi,kiz....i guess i need to.stop this list in order to act like my age so many more....I bet every chat user can have a list of his/her friends made through it.
Even after years they come online , i always say hi to them because of the strong bonding developed.
We even used to call names like professor ravage,raptor pang,ladyz and all..
Forum is a stricter place.the rules are there for a reason. So a chatroom just become a great hangout place! |
Okay had a great rush in the chat. Reunited with many friends. Many players came beccause they just know the fun of chat isunparalleled!! Want to stimulate a conversation or want to pick on myname? Welcome to the chat!
Azas angry and eddy is miserable due to the crowd. Make the mods do work . But plz dont get a banhammer.

Ahh, I too miss 2008/2009 in chat ;) That is where I learnt a lot about the game mostly through Ravage, ExDeath and Xeno amongst numerous others.
Don't worry if you see no one chatting, that's because people are often waiting for someone to say something and start a conversation! |

indeed i do miss the chat which was once sooo crowded n busy...

he was an active player during the 08-09 era...
and an avid chat-er too he taught me all the basics of this game...
a shame he hasn't been online for the pass 3 years or so...=) |

yup I remember grandpa hunago, was quite good in dealing with people and guiding them. We even had a buff gratz thread for him being a millionaire.
And just like hunago .gurumao and zyanya were the favorites of the chat community:) |

And btw if you dont find anybody in chat just mail a friend to come on over or start yapping stuff in chat and people will come since you will draw attention:P

The chat is more lucid and goes at faster pace. Forum cant give you the experience of having that much fun with friends with all that 1 min. time b/w 2 posts and not sure what is the time duration b/w 2 PM's. Why burn PM paper when you can have a great conversation on chat? You don't need anybody to be there everytime. You can just invite friends over.
You can simultaneously address more people, chat privately, use smilies (Beer one for the celebration is my favorite :P) so why keep away from chat? Just grab your stuff and to the LWM chat!! |
