Author | Redistribution of Assets |
People who are blocked sometimes own estates and rare items.
Their blocking results in less availability of those assets like this person owns a few rare arts and an estate:

His assets should be auctioned by Empire in market.
Shop arts should not be posted as they will consume time of Empire and are available in plenty for everyone. |

but the problem is that some people get unblocked after a while as well. |
Some of them who have been blocked for light violations are unblocked but not all, especially those of violations like multi char violations |
Blocked for x amount of time. Then do this. Can be months or a year or whatever |
But I do not think BOW will be unblocked |

For Sven91:
Can you please state the reason so that we can debate can find a solution to it |

Blocked for x amount of time. Then do this. Can be months or a year or whatever
This would probably be necessary, since, as has been stated, the problem is that some people get unblocked after a while as well. |

Well I forgot about this thread(dumb me)
Well we need to do this now more than ever |

It looks to me like you'r just bored enrolling and flood everywhere.
Why now more than ever? your 120k gold won't be able to secure not even the toilet door from an estate. |
I have 460k btw, and I am not selfish like your likes, i think about everyone.
I may not be able to buy right now but many are which are facing unreasonable demands like 5 mil for an Estate, this problem can be solved by auctioning other Estates |
Empire could put up the "*confiscated" estates for auction.

Yeah i agree with the previous post. Empire does put confoscated estates on auction. I think the solution is already there. |
They are not confiscation, at least it is not shown in the first 10 pages |

Cool idea, If the player has no chance for an unblock |

Not +1 or -1... the idea is good in the sense that it redistributes non-utilized estates/arts. However, I dont agree with it entirely because of the simple moral issue of taking something from a player when they have a chance of being unblocked.
I do think its a good idea to auction off estates/arts if a player is imposed a fine and does not have the liquid assets (resources + elements + NPC-value of arts + gold) To stop players from having an obsenely negative gold balance and simply rage-quitting [order of liquidation at the discretion of the fined player]. But doing this to blocked players... its a different issue. Fines, generally, are one-time issues... blocks are routinely reversed/appealed.
Also, if you are classifying them based on player who have "no chance" of an unblock; then you must define what it is to have no chance of an unblock. This creates further issues down the road.
I give you props for a generally thoughtful idea (I doubt this is only for your benefit) but consider the issues that would arise if a player were unblocked from a comparatively minor offense, only to return to find all of their assets gone. Now consider the "fairness" aspect of what you are proposing. This could drive away potential new players. (which -arguably- is already being done in many facets of this game) |
Even if this idea gets implenented, then maybe 3 to 5 estates at most go back to the market and are sold for like 2M-6M depending on upgrades and locations.
This has no impact at all on TS or 99,99% of the rest of the community.
Too much work for admins for no improvement for the average player. |
