Back during the first expedition to the Past, Abu-Bakir was puzzled by the question about the connection between life and time, and how the connection could be described using the common notions of magical science. He ran several magical experiments on plants on the other side of the Portal, and later found that species in his time and discovered that the alterations persisted. To his great satisfaction, other similar species had not suffered those alterations.
Now, the head of Academy was going to repeat the experiment, greatly expanding its area: the Nobility of Empire...
Abu-Bakir invited Bilir to his tent and familiarized him with his plans. Initially, the wizard was terrified by the idea, but gradually, following the course of Abu-Bakir's explanation and analyzing his conclusions, settled down a bit. His main concern was that the consequences of such alterations could have gone far beyond the Academic's control, and he judiciously shared his doubts with the latter. The Court magician reassured him that, first of all, a trial experiment had already been conducted successfully, and secondly, such an endeavour was backed by long-term research and theoretical basis, and actually, the very point of research was about drawing the alterations from the past through the entire timeline until their own present. After all, the opportunity to travel through several ages into the Past wasn't one that came out of the blue on a bright day.
Abu-Bakir left his tent and directed his firm steps towards the newly arrived battle vanguards, intending to ask several heroes to accompany him. Bilir followed him, uncertainty still clearly visible in his gait. Kidding aside, he was about to sense the consequences of his colleague's ambitious experiment on his own back!

The head of Academy Abu-Bakir and our ex-councilor Bilir are intending to continue their research in time, and their expedition needs your assistance! The Sentinels of the Past won't put up with the presence of aliens in their lands, and undertake regular attacks at the researchers. Although they can hardly realise who and from whence arrived through the Portals, they should not be allowed to hamper the work of the prominent minds of the Empire.
