1. Pierce through magic resistance.
If I have 5 arts that give me this pierce through %:
a) 11/16/5/5/5
b) 11/16/6/6/6
What is the total % pierce through I have in both cases?
2. This is about 'magic proof' of arts.
If I have 3 arts that each give 10% magic proof, what's the total % magic proof I have?
Thx in advance. This is mainly a question whether I simply add the %s 1 by 1 or there is any other calculation involved too. |
a) 1-(1-0.11)*(1-0.16)*(1-0.05)^3 = 35.9%
b) 1-(1-0.11)*(1-0.16)*(1-0.06)^3 = 37.9%
1-(1-0.1)^3 = 27.1%
And if you have 37.9% magic pierce, and opponent has 27.1% magic proof ->
you pierce through 0.379*0.271 = 10.27%
so he has 0.271-0.379*0.271 = 16.8% magic proof left |

thanks a lot, it makes sense :) |
