Hi,
If my opponent mage has piercing magic +26% and I have 36% resistance, then how will the damage done be calculated? How mage damage would have been dealt if I had 0% resistance?
Thank you! | If you have 0% resistance and he has some pierce through resistance, the damage is the same regardless of his piercing (no extra bonus).
When you have 36% resistance and he has 26% piercing, it is like you had 0,36*(1-0,26) = 26,64% resistance instead of 36% :)
So when he use a spell which deals 500 basic damage:
- your resistance 36%, his piercing 0% - damage is 500*(1-0,36) = 320
- your resistance 36%, his piercing 26% - damage is 500*(1-0,36*(1-0,26))=367 damage
- your resistance 0%, his piercing 26% - damage is still 500 |
