AuthorBlindFold Tournament Walkthrough
Hi there, this is a walkthrough i have made, I know its come late but its come after i took expirience from my combats.

Guide-

Do not hit the player right next to you if he has faster speed creatures than you. Play defensive till his creatures go away or hit him only if he provokes you.

If you have shooters then try not wasting your arrows. Play a defensive silent existence. Shoot only when required. Save your arrows for the end.
Try and not wage fights with the strongest army of that time. If you do so, then you may end up dying.

Hit only the creatures of the lord who has been targetted with your hero. That ways, your creatures wont be getting independent and yet you will be able to be in a silent presence.

Tribals should keep rotating their troops with in their area. Do not wait or defend, you will lose tribal spirit.
If one lord is leading a defensive existence, he has no shooter and his melee units cant reach you then shoot him to death. Play defensive with your melee units until he comes near you.

If you are being targetted try killing the next weakest lord. IF you are succesful you might get one extra point.

Learn to Forgive and Forget! If one lord who is stronger than you killed a stack of yours and then directed his attention to another lord then do not wage fights with him. Go back to your defensive stance and try surviving the battle with remaining units.

Never Lose Hope! Even if you are about to die, play till the end. Sometimes when lords weaken other lords and they know they can beat you if you and they were left in the end, they move their confidence towards the next guy they think they can bring down.

If you know you are the strongest among them all, then also only hit a lord if some other lord is fighting with him. In 1on1 you lose quite a bit of your army but in 2on2 you dont.

Do not feel indebted to any lord in battle. If he didnt strike you when he could, then dont feel he is your ally. He is rather a scaredy cat. Hit him when you can. Do not allow him to play his defensve stance
If you think that you are not the strongest lord but are close to being it then bide your time, keep hoping that the strongest lord will start fighting with someone and soon you will be the strongest lord.

If you have melee units and no shooter/caster try and not attract attention. Usually the battle is between shooters. Let the shooters weaken themselves or die and only then start moving your units towards them.

Never underestimate a lord with lower cup. These guys just hang out there unnoticed and then they steal away all the points.

REMEMBER: The cup only shows how the other lords have performed. They are not a prediction of his strength or skill.
REMEMBER: Every Dog Has Its Day
is there any chances for the elves?
Steps to follow:

Step-1 Bring up the rage, tribal spirit, bloodlust of your creatures by playing a silent game. Only hit with your hero, that will allow you to accumalate some tribal spirit and bloodlust.

Step-2 Start moving ahead a bit. Do this only when 1 or 2 lords are dead and there are no strong creatures in the blocks adjacent to the one assigned to you in the beggining.

Step-3 Slowly but steadily start hitting melee units with your shooters and melee units. By now you should have decent rage, tribal spirit, bloodlust etc. and your parameters should have increased.

Step-4 Gain 5 points
for post #5.

I am making it a basic guide for all levels. I cant point out at each level and each faction. but please do look at this.

If you have both shooters and casters in strong numbers, then shoot with your casters. Do not waste your spells till the end. Obviously if you see a few creatures coming towards you, unleash your full wrath on them
If you have no retalliation creatures then you still have to defend. If you spot any creature with not many creatures around it then only do you hit that creature.

If you have shrews then do not use them to create fights with strong armies. Only hit lords who are being targeted and are weak. If your shrews attract attention they will be killed.

Be wary of spells that hit multiple boxes on the battlefield and the volley ability. Do not put many creatures close toghether or spells like fireball, earthen spikes and bowmen's volley can hit them all. This needs to be followed when protecting your shooters. If they are all around the shooter then they all can die at once. Keep them at 1 box distances so that not many of them die when volleyed or spelled upon.
Beware of Flyers. They can really hit your shooters as they can fly through creatures. Even walls dont effect them.

I suggest that do not shoot necromancer melee units. They can always be raised. Make sure you step over undead units after killing them so they aren't raised.

Also calculate the chance of favored enemy coming from elves. Only take up fights with elves if you are sure that it wont be affecting you much.

Large Creatures have disavatages when so many creatures are battling. Try not to go to offensive with your large creature. Theycan be easily reached. Large shooters are difficult to save if you have a flying unit near you
Never think that if you have a low cup you are weak as a player and are unskilled and your faction is not good. The actual reason to a low cup is that people killed you because they thought you had POTENTIAL, POTENTIAL TO WIPE THEM OUT!
Interesting walkthrough, it reminds me of Niccolo Machavelli works :)
POTENTIAL, POTENTIAL TO WIPE THEM OUT! I totally agree bro :)

for Lord SV22:
is there any chances for the elves? ofc.Kill the other elf (if any) when u get the chance, dont attack everyone just the ones who provoke you or about to die.Keep your melee units safe till the end.
Learn to Forgive and Forget! If one lord who is stronger than you killed a stack of yours and then directed his attention to another lord then do not wage fights with him. Go back to your defensive stance and try surviving the battle with remaining units.

This is quite important.I used this strategy for the last few battles and got somevaluable 4 points in EACH of them ! =)
thanks for approving my work loafant.

thnx mate
I disagree,
im playing with tribals level 13 with upgraded warlords, and im always the 1st to get targeted by all and to die 1st, in the 2 games that i wasnt, i ended up winning them. so i cant agree with that...
With what jaodbe.

Rea the guide nicely and you might get to understand your mistakes. If you are being targeted try changing your recruitment a bit. go to tribals General game forum section for further help in detail. This is just the mentalanalysis that we should have in combats, not a in-depth help.
Certain factions draw a degree of hate. Wizards, people know if they are left alone with the wizard at the end, the wizard will beat them, so some people try to kill wizards early. Some people think the same with tribals as a tribal who is left alone too long can build a fair bit of tribal spirit.

In a blindfold tournament sometimes you'll be unlucky and get targeted because someone near you is impatient. To do well in a blindfold tournament requires a degree of luck.
