It all depends on how profitable the acquired mines are.
Usually though in my experience, which maybe fault, in a short term, a mine can't sustain the defenders' artifact costs. Maybe it all boils down to how many mines will a MC hold upon finishing this event, assuming the event finishes though. Then at the "peace era" and in the long run, you will get back your money spent in its defense. All that, assuming again this war ends. If it doesn't end then we are doomed and may god help us all. |
well, if a mc still cant grab a facility nowadays, it is just a bad mc :P
i mean the amount of wins it takes to capture one... you can almost do it with 6 players total. |

1. Are MCs allowed to reward/compensate members for defending and/or attacking facilities in this event?
2. Are MCs allowed to reward/compensate members for participating in all server events?
3. If it's allowed, what are [if any] the limits of such rewards/compensation?
4. Who can make such rewards/compensation?

Your dear Arctic will.
1. Yes, the clans are OK, although not very welcome, to reward players with gold for participating in both defense or attack. This may be applied as a forced measure to, say, refund some artifact durability spent, but is in no way to become regular, and by no means exploited.
2. For common and never-changing reasons, clans are generally not allowed to reward players for battles. It comes in close friction with rule 3.20. (Any kind of payment for combat is forbidden. Rewarding or promising reward for losing, entering or quitting combat will be considered as paid-for combat. (...)), the team has considered both pros and contras in this case and decided to allow rewarding for Survilurg battles only.
3. The limit is announced in rule 3.15. of general rules. Note that the wording of the rule has changed to ensure the best understanding of this rule's contents: 3.15. There are limits for transfers intended as gifts. Gifts from a grantor to any particular player must not exceed 10,000 gold * [Combat level of the grantor] + 250 * [Diamonds obtained by the grantor through donations] per month.
4. This is important, only the clan leader may do the rewarding. Basically, the reason for this is that only one person may be doing those rewards in order to ensure that the limit is kept, and the team has decided that this is big enough for namely the clan leader to have the buck stay with.
These guidelines have been discussed with the Russian sweepers and made known to both Russian and English keepers. Anyone justifying themselves with "a Russian keeper told me so" will not meet sweepers' sympathy. |

Do Russians sleep for 2 hours? Because here in greece we need more.
So, if we have to work for 8 hours, the safe time period leave us 2 hours to sleep and all these depending on if the safe time period matches our working hours and we dont have anything else to do in rl.
In practice admins forces us to play when we are at work, dropping our productivity down or risking to get fired.
it is obvious that the safe time should be bigger.
Of course we have the choice not to participate but then it would be an event for a few.
I am really getting bored being the administration's guinea pig(they said it is a test, didnt they?).
If they need to test things for a month just hire some testers, build a beta server, or do both.
A game is supposed to be played for fun and i dont see any fun continuing this event. |

We can all see a big difference between the .com and the .ru servers. In .com we had a game that we could play when we had time. In .ru there are many events and if you don't lock in for days you miss a lot. The game has changed and we'll have to accommodate or find another one.
This event is clearly for hard core players. I'm sure admins monitor our activity and progress closely. We'll have to wait and see with what conclusions they come after this event/test ;) |
You always have to suit both HC players and "normal" one.
If you don't like it, don't play it. So do I from time to time. |

no!
Though some clans are arranging prizes for their brave warriors and ifur isnt then you can try proposing it to the leader but the server is not responsible for this and its not complusory for clan either but its upto them if they want to!

I think the prices will be for the clan the defended facilities, or maybe the MC will be able to reward their own members. If there will be some art reward i will be happy :) |

Many MC has compensated own members for the cost.
I know AnD has given some gold (dunno how much, you can check logs or ask Jedi)and Empires Wrath has also giving a little over 1kk back. I also know some Russian speaking clans has also given some. Unsure about amount.
And Arctic can u tell us how much longer will turn this event? few days or...?
Nobody knows and I am sure Arctic will not and cannot tell us.
To me it seems like a long event and don't expect it to stop, but in the end what do I know, I am only guessing |
