about the identification code:
you should take any transparent surface (even a transparent packet) and write "hwm/mister13" on it. during the photosession you make 1 photo where you are holding this surface with the code in your hands (clothes and enviromnent should be the same as in the contest photo)
there are no other variants to do this photo |

1. You must be combat level 5
2. Additional characters cannot take part
3. The photo should only contain the participant. Group photos are not allowed. Photos must be in .Jpg and maximum size 500kb.
4. You may not alter the photo in any way with an editor. (That means no digital enhancement). You may crop and reduce the size of photos digitally.
5. You will need to take 2 photos for each theme. The first photo should be a scene where you provide a verification code: hwm/mister13 - This is to ensure that it is your photo and they know you have taken it.
Take the scene that you will take your photo in and using a see-through item, write the code on it and take a picture of that verification code in the scene. (There are examples under rule 5 on HWM daily).
6. The participant will submit 2 photos. The first photo has the theme, Caveman / Hunter Gatherer.
The second theme is Modern Hero.
7. Only the first photo needs to be supplied for the first round. (By the 13th August). The community (Russians and English players) will vote on those that they think are best. Roughly half will go through to the second round.
8. 1st stage photos must be submitted by the 13th August.
1st round voting runs from 14th-17th August.
Those who progress to the second round can submit their modern hero photos between 18th and 24th August.
The Jury will rate each piece by the 26th August.
9. Clans are prohibited to mail their members to get them voting for one of their players. If a player gets more than 50% of their votes from their MC, they may be removed from the competition at the discretion of the organisers.
10. Nicknames of the participants are withheld until round 2.
To maintain a level of anonymity and fairness, participants will be unable to spread their photo by any means, neither through photo albums or any other resources.
11. The organisers reserve the right to remove anyone from the competition if they are suspected of manipulating the vote.
12. The winner will get a UCI and a share of the 700k prize pool.
13. 1st place - 20% of the prize fund + UCI
2nd place - 40% of the fund
3rd place - 30% of the fund
14. The rules may be amended at any time. |

Why would they - You misunderstand the nature of this competition. This competition is run by HWM daily, not the administration. From time to time, HWM Daily and the HWM Radio are authorized to run competitions.
Do not get confused, neither HWM daily or the Radio are run by the administration - They are player run. So do not expect any "official" announcement whenever you see these competitions being held.
