why high level players try to increase their faction level in every single faction? does it give them a bonus or something else?

That for getting Racial defense for there main faction, every fsp lvl they get +3% faction resistance.
so that a demon have faction lel 3 for DE, when he face a DE he get 9% less damage(melee and magic)
