I was expecting a one day pre-end period for the portal where we would be allowed to cover only past battles but no! :(
Anyways, whats done is done. Cant help it! The good point is, I LOVVVVED THE PRIZES!
I just want you to give a rough detail of how much you spent on the portal and how much would the market price be of the art you recieved! Jjust to see if it actually works this portal! Also, id love if you all share your ideas and suggestions for the next portal so that if Arctic ever by the tiny meeny hope i have, falls upon this topic, he can hopefully consider our discussions! I feel there are a lot new things that the next portal can have! And I really want something better!
So basically you give your:-

For me:-
1. Gold spent on portal:- 29*350 (rough sketch) = 10150 gold
Victories- 18 earnt approx. 3k gold
Losses- 11
Art- Light Temporal boots (44/44) which come out to about 6k gold.
So Profit/loss = 10150 - 9000 = 1150 :(
2.But still i got like 40k exp and quite a bit of dwarf fsp! And portals are soo better than camping :P! It comes abt tht Facility battles economically turn out better than the portal but portal gives whole lot of other benefits like you dont have to build a new faction castle to build its resist! And then i got to battle with cool armies and troops! Had a lot of fun but it can become better in the following ways-
a. Give the end-day cool down thing so that we cant play more but can cover previous missed battles.
b. Allow us to leave a battle if noone has joined.
c. Why do AI always hit creatures which are fast and fun to play with :( (Just cribbing)
d. Give elements as reward in battles! Higher levels have higher chance to win a good element which sells high!
e. Stop facility battles during portal or make the portal stay longer :p Just when i started to have fun and managed to find the correct army for my tastes, the portal shut down! |
i had some great fun as well.
Even received 3 artifacts with 7/7 durability in my first 9 battles :)

O yeah i forgot the value of two 7/7 arts i got and one gave me 280 gold bonus and the other 500 so yeah!

They need to add one or two days after the last day so people like me who had my nephew's wedding to help prepare for, to attend and then to help clear up from. I missed 3 vital days and never managed to catch up.
Trying to cram so much into the last day the server load became very heavy. Several of my battles were affected by lag and dropped comms and we lost at least one due to comms problems that we would have won. Giving us one or two extra days to catch up would be appreciated and spread the server load as well as allow some of us with a presence in the real world to have more fun and have more of these battles.

Cool then its time to start collecting the temporal items.
Anyway if we get an art for every time the PortalOfTime opens then we can expect the portal to open again soon ) (Around 20 times? )
Maybe in total 9 might CoT arts and 9 mage CoT arts and till now we got only 3 might arts.
It can be similar to tactician set items like 8% ini for wearing all 9 items ???
whether it is profit/loss i don't mind,Got some fsp for building anti faction without building any construction )

| Not sure why people are calculating profits or losses. There is one big profit: getting fsp in a faction without having to build the castle. That is a profit of a million gold already ;-). |

Yes, this is the major profit. I got some 40+ fsp to level up two fractions lv1 during this event. |
for me, this event was sucess and I consider it to be the best event there is - raised my demod from 0 to 3 and almost made it from DE 2 to 3 - only 0.5 FSP to lvl up - I should have not lost my last battle :)
Furthermore, art I got is pretty good, too, so I have no complains.
when it comes to costs/earnings I did not calculate it, but I'll be somewhere around -80k as renting from artifact shop IS expensive! :) |

you consider good fsp/exp ratio a loss? you need to learn this game more bro :)
money is nothing.. high fsp to exp ratio is priceless. if you have fsl 10 in faction with fsl 5-6 in all other factions at lv 13.. you can easily stomp everyone in cg, especially those with fsl 9 :)

Because about 15 000 players have the same item? Think a little lol.
There is no "loss" in event battle's, the FSP amount is EPIC..
So you're 15 k "loss" is spended on those 75-100 (I got nearly 150) fsp.
Lets say you got 75 fsp at you're level for 49 battle's.
And you "lost" 15k gold, so thats.. 1 k gold for.. 5fsp?
I would buy that everyday :).
Without "loss" you can't level, so if thats what you're looking for you better stop playing lol. |
