| It so happens that in this current ST i setup my mistresses(playing on alt) to where i had 3 enemies in range of my shot. my first shot on one target didnt get ricochet, but mistresses burst for more action and i shot again on same target and got the ricochet... so my question is, is this ability randomly triggered for when it will bounce? |
no. there are 2 important note for the ricochet shot.
1. it will bounce to nearest 4 targets.
2. it will never bounce on demon unit.
so, ricochet shot will stop if next nearest target is demon |
| hmm.. thats interesting because the wave in the ST consisted of merc sorcerors and rogues.. so idk why it didn't bounce first time and did the second... |
No Pang, ricochet shot skips demon units. If a demon unit is nearest, it will just go to the next unit and so on, until it hits a normal unit. Only case it stops is when there is an allied non demon unit that is nearest (after skipping demon units), or when there are no more enemy units that haven't been hit yet.
Maybe you got a reinforcement stack that wasn't demonic and that stopped the bouncing in first time?
Sometimes there is also a graphics bug, that shows it shoot one target without bounce and then immediately shoot to the next ones (but this is all in one turn of the unit). |
thanks lord fosgeen, i beleive it was due to a reinforcement stack. i will have to be aware of that next time ^_^
