In many clans leaders are inactive or blocked but the deputy are very much active and very rich and also willing to Donate gold for the clan..
So , when a treasurer can keep his/her hand over their treasure box why can't the deputy? If this idea gets accepted , many clans will get their life back.. |

That is what im asking.. It leads to death of many clans , if leader is inactive :/ .. So the deputy should also be allowed to keep his hands on the clan balance. |
below are my assuptions why deputy (that position's name was treasurer before) is not allowed to touch clan balance anymore. btw this change is semi-recent, I dont expect a revert back.
1) eleminate issues of - sort of - stolen gold if leader / treasurer develop a personel trouble.
2) remove possibility of easy gold transfer between leader / treasurer without paying transfer tax.
about reviving dead clans : not 100% sure but vaugely remember this : if a clan leader is blocked, then treasurer can apply to secretary to be assigned as new leader. If leader is MIA (but not blocked) I'm afraid there is no solution ;) |

im pretty sure clan deputies can only apply for leadership if it is a relatively large clan (50 members if I remember) so the deputy having clan balance access should be implemented.
Also, if there is a personal issue between the deputy and leader, why would the leader give the deputy the chance to "steal" the gold from the clan balance? |

But yeah I know the deputy to leader thingy ... But many leaders afk for a long long time.. but the clan has a very active deputy and very active members and lets assume that the joining fee was llike 10k.. |
The admins only recently removed the treasurer position and decided that the new deputy position would not have access to finances in non MC clans.
It is already possible to have leadership passed to the deputy in general clans in some situations
3.29.2. It is possible to ask an Administration representative to reassign the clan leadership from leader to deputy in the following cases:
- Clan with blocked leader: the leader does not have "Not to be unblocked" seal in his transfer log; the leader is not blocked for financial assist, insults or SHL; at the moment of block the clan counts more than 50 members.
So this is not so much an idea as a question about why admins did this which none of us can answer for you with accuracy. |
