I think Arctic like the events when are epic and make sence, so he is preparing for us good stories :)
As i see from alt upgraded units of tribal (thanks sven91 :), there is missing only alt goblin and alt wyvern. And when u look at the creatures and their abilities u can see they are more defensive. For example protectors https://www.lordswm.com/army_info.php?name=warmong has 20hp, enforces have 12 hp, they have ferocity, what return double dmg so they are oriented like elves ironroot treefolks.
There should be implemented 2 barbars alts, one defensive and one darkness, so i think alt tribal will be defensive. Maybe they will have some propoerty like actual barbarians - when they wait they get +5%dmg, so i am thinking they will get more spirits for defending, or it will up their dmg. Thats my speculations :) |

The announcement does makes me remember tribals from heroes V, and almost all alt units are ready and finished...
Looks like we'll have barbs and tribals alt coming...
I can't avoid to say, this is a quit surprise, because there's other elder factions which should come to list first... |
