if done well and at the right place, graffiti can be beautifull,
but if in the wrong place and by the wrong person it can be very ugly as well |

There are walls, parks and places created especially for the graffiti artists, they have every right to express their art in those places. I do approve them as long as it's like in what I said.
After that, there are those people who do them everywhere, in public places, illegally, I'm against those ones. |
Graffiti is a form of art without a doubt. It allows expressionism and people to convey thoughts and feelings through visual displays of colour and shape, it's a creative act. It usually have a political statement and I believe that's because it is a way of rebellion against conformity.
Tags though is something different, it's the signs and signature drawings on the walls. It is ambigius if it represents art. |
In general I am in favour of artistic graffiti where they have got consent of land owner.
I feel tagging (either gang relate or personal) is not a good thing. |
