i am currently a wizard and do only hunts and mercenary. i wanted to build fsp in other faction.
so, can anyone tell me which faction is as good as wizards for mercenary, or atleast second best |

Maybe better question is "which faction I need resistance for as a wizard"? If you keep playing wiz, you will want to find out whom it is particularly tough to fight, and get some advantage against them early.
I'd choose that even if it were a little tough to hunt with that faction. There are so many easy hunts stikl especially once you hit new HG level. |

Ignore that then :)
Just out of Heroes V experience, you should recruit max druids and hunters. Then as much as the game lets you recruit as sprites if you upgrade tier 1, or blade dancers if you don't.
In combats keep hunters 1 stack and split druids into as many as possible (4-5) to maximize damage output. |

The answer is none. Why do i say so?
1.Merc quest difficulty level does not decrease with defeat. It remains the same. Yes, wizard is the best for merc quest and you have done loads of them. It means you have raised the difficulty level by a lot.
2.There might be a lot of good factions for effective merc quest. But elf is bad without avengers guild. And you need high FSL for avengers guild to be effective. The same goes to dwarf or tribal or knight. Maybe most of the faction. But if you have time and you can choose the quest that you think you can win, maybe elf is the best choice |
