Authorarena of creatures
+1 mice Idea :)
it could be a huge fun but make this only occur on special events

else, it'll get predictable and boring quickly
+1 sounds like fun.

for grahasburas:

how exactly is dynamic balancing going to work with this?
predictable? :D

Lets make another example
35 archliches vs 40 senior genies vs 25 sphynx mummies vs 50 druids

Now tell me who wins :D
+1
i would bet on 35 archliches and i'm quite positive about winning :)
i would bet at sphynx mummies
+1
Well i cant say it will be predictable.. Lets say fight should be with all creatures having 5 morale and 5 luck
So the one getting more luck/morale wins :D

35 archliches vs 40 senior genies vs 25 sphynx mummies vs 50 druids
Sphynx mummies ofc :P They will have 0 defense and mummies can raise itself too :p
They will have 0 defense
I mean sphynx mummies can make their defense very less/or 0 by casting mass disrupt*
but what if geies will be nearest and will attack sphynx at first? :D There is now way to predict behavior of creatures if their positions will be random
+1 only if some morale or luck bonuses apply too:p

Eg:35 archliches vs 40 senior genies vs 25 sphynx mummies vs 50 druids

35 arch liches have 3 luck, genies have 3 morale and druids with 4 luck+2 morale and no bonus for mummies:p

This will make things more unpredictable too :D
for #28
All creatures with 5 morale and 5 luck will still favor those with high ini.
Variable morale,luck, maybe ini increase will prove to be more effective:)
how exactly is dynamic balancing going to work with this?

1000 zombies goes against 100 shrews, shrews win;
dynamic balancing is applied decreasing number of shrews by X% and increasing number of zombies by Y%;
pit zombies and shrews against other opponents and continue applying dynamic balancing depending on results just like in thief battles;

This actually sounds like an interesting chaos theory experiment! XD
why would you want to dynamically balance things? to minimise the differencce in power levels ultimately, right? well that would make it hard to predict but -

if thats the case, then it will be solely dependent on triggers and nothing else.
It should definitely not bedependent on triggers and nothing else.

The example given by Majesticos is perfect. Similarly if we are to Pit Shrews and Zombies together, we also need to add a Shooter Creature which poses a problem for Shrews.

So in such battles, every creature must have an opponent which is tough to beat, and one which is fairly easy to beat.

This will create more of unpredictability.

+1 Better and more fun than roulette atleast. :P
So in such battles, every creature must have an opponent which is tough to beat, and one which is fairly easy to beat.

thats exactly what is needed.

i said balancing would make all four of them equal in strength... then it would be just about triggers. What is it that you don't understand from my previous post?)

but i think it doesnt have to be about gold.. give some random artifact after a series of wins or something like that :)
yes maybe some shop artifact with durability 7/7... but is more fun when can make stake for creature :) more adrenaline about win/lose
and i got one more idea - the winner creature would fight next battle with full hp at begin last combat with new 3 creatures :)
