AuthorThe NY Fantasy Quest from Daily
Objective of the day in two parts:
1) Tolgar will run a training combat for the players at 23:00.
To apply, players will need to post their reports on daily activity in the thread that Tolgar will create in General Game Forum.
For CL 5-13, the players need to report five 2vs2 or 3vs3 group battle wins for their garrison.
For CL 14+, 3 battle reports are enough.
Only combats from the period of 8:00, December 27 to 4:00, December 28 are acceptable today!
Attempts to cheat, give reports with battles of another time period or battles of other players will get you disqualified.

Those who cannot/don’t want to join the combat with Tolgar, but are still taking part in the quest, need to report their combat links in the comments to the Stage 3 hotnews:
http://daily.heroeswm.ru/hn.php?i=snnam29e

Completing this part earns 5 quest points. Defeating Tolgar will earn another 10 points and a sweet treat to all five participants of the combat.
2) Another objective is to plan where, how and in whose company you will spend the New Year night! And as you do, remember/research how they do it in different countries by answering the questions of a test.

The numbers of correct answers in the given order typed in a sequence without spaces are the code to advance to the next stage. You will get your 10 points if you complete the test and enter the code in the end of the Daily’s stage 3 quest after having flipped through all the pages (The password for flipping the pages is still “to be continued”.

The test is available on Daily, as text (not picture). I shall give an approximate translation here a little later.
This test is a part of the New Year Fantasy Quest.
The sequence of the numbers of correct answers (from 1 to 4) in a row without spaces is the code to get through stage 3 to the next stage.

unbieleveable what habits can be in the other lands :) i just can say that #10 is false in slovakia, neverheard about it
the trouble is unless you have all 23 correct, its like you have none correct :(
till arc or some other translator arives:
todays quest is different - you have to dance 5 battles with an oposite sex partner.
HG, TG, RG and tree deffend counts

only winning "dances" are counted

as always time to complete till 4am 30th of dec.
Stage 4 was not quite possible for any non-Russian speakers to complete, so I had to skip on that one.

Stage 5.
Yaga:

*Sings*
“I’m an outcast, nobody wants to hang out with me!...
Ah, I love songs so much,,
So much fun we used to have with my gentleman years ago, singing and stuff, until I caught him at amours with some damsel and made him into canned food!
Oh well, let bygones be bygones, it’s kind of a holiday, I want fun! Dancing, singing, enjoying!
Grandfather Frost:

Yaga, what’s that switching topics, what’s with the sack?
You promised you could hint us, implicated goblins for whatever reason, and they all say they have nothing to do with the theft!
It just seems to me you know nothing of it, you’re nothing but hungry for attention!
Yaga:

I’m not lying! I’m uhm… holding something back!
Because I want a holiday! A real celebration!
When else would you remember me?!
You’d clearly have forgotten to even greet me, the old hag!
And I’m not too bad yet! The way I can dance yet, the snow will fall off all the fir-trees!
Ah, should someone just ask me for a dance!..
Grandfather Frost:

So then, I shall, although I haven’t danced for a hundred years!
You just hint us where to look for the sack of presents! I can actually make an entire Imperial ball for you! All in your honour! Music! Lights!
Cavaliers asking for ladies, ladies asking for cavaliers!
One-two-three, one-two-three…
Narration part over.
--
Objective of the day:
“Dance” at least five “ball dances” in the Imperial ball!
All Victorious Paired PVE combats can be credited! HG, TG, RG, Fir-tree defense etc. It can be all of one type, or one of each type, any combination will do! The only condition is: there are only two player characters of opposite gender! (character gender, of course)
A report of five “dance” combat links (combats between 8:00 AM, December,29 and 04:00 AM, December,30 are valid) needs to be posted in the comments of the Daily hotnews about stage 5 with a compulsory note: “New Year Fantasy Quest, Stage 5”.
http://daily.heroeswm.ru/hn.php?i=1eh5ce91
should we do all 5 combats with same player or any number with any player(of opposite gender) ?
Also will posting 5 battle links for quest 2 as comment there and not battling tolgar still earn me 5 points? bcz I didn't get any mail for the code :(
It can be with any player or players, the conditions are PVE, paired (only two) and opposite gender of the partner.
Stage 6.
Yaga:

Gosh, I danced so well!
Now it’s dinner time! Check out how much I have cooked!
Pickled roaches! Slime pancakes! Flooder ragout! Deep-fried rat tails!
Everybody, welcome to the table! Don’t you refuse, I did my best!
Snowmaiden:

Yaga, we uhm… We better go. You just give us a hint. It’s sort of early to get to the table, it’s just the 30th, right? We’ll come by tomorrow, honestly!
Yaga:

Look at that… They are squeamish of my dishes! Turning up their noses at my cooking! Ha!

No matter what, you’ll have to taste my hotchpotch!
I crumbled everything I could find in there, AND your hint got in there too! Finders keepers, you find it and it’s yours! You don’t and you go on the rocks!
