well done :) happened to me once too, i was shocked.
anyway a bit of advise, if you want to spend even longer without the worry of independence, have only 1 of ur 3 stack of xbows shoot, then next turn let anouther one shoot |

| Is it me, or allies are usually adjacent ones? For me almost all battles the human player has been an adjacent one. |

That one, My hero attack and then I defend my monk but it shoot magi near me.
I though hero attack remove independence of my troops.
Except this, everything fine.
all the problem is pray not to face darkness AI who would cast disruption ray again and again on my troops as they are in 5x5 position always.

I dont see why you think it is impossible..
Dwarfs at lower levels can easily aim for 90+ easily
MY alt lv 3 dwarf won 3 out of 4 battles with ease...
lost one because fellow lord thought it was fun in attacking me and bringing us both down =.=
Dwarfs simply have to keep defending in corner and let others deal with others :)
So, i levelled up to lv4 because i am trying for 95+ and that loss brought me down..

Now i'm pretty sure Lords will win. Cuz I guess many have finally understood how important it is to ensure that the top two players are from the Empire side.
Sadly I've had one battle, where even after knowing I'm human, the other human picked on me instead of battling till the last 2. So we also have such players who are not really bothered about Empire winning. :P

You don't really earn anything useful if the Empire wins unless you're a top 10% contender. Even that may not even be enough to motivate some people to cooperate since I'm sure there will be those who are not after the gold reward but only in it for the CG and FSP. I don't think everyone is into the role-playing aspect of the game. |

wiz? Dem? dwarf?
If wiz or dwarf, cast on any non caster not near you (just spike on the ground fist turn)
and save your mana if human have high magic resistance and high HP troops like knight. |
