AuthorHunt EXP Limited by AP?

I was wondering if the exp one receives on a hunt is limited by the Ammunition Points that one has. Whenever I use my 5 AP set, namely Steel Sword + Defender's Shield, I receive exactly 350 exp when I win hunts. However, when I wore a 6 AP set - Reprisal Sword + Defender's Shield - I got 429 exp. Is this just a coincidence, or is it by design?

there's a minimum exp of (combat level)*70 in hunts

the exp for the hunt that you did in 6 AP probably exceed the minimum limit, it's just a coincidence that you used 6 AP for that hunt
