Is it a idea to have some enchanted arts? Enchanted mage arts are really expensive to rent and there are not much choice too. Will it be good in the long run? I mean the next mage ring that i can use is in level 13 and its going to be a long time. Is yes, how many percent will be good enough? |
Generally not a good idea if you don't have a lot of money to spend. Its better to rent the enchanted arts, renting from the artifact shop is quite expensive. You can get better enchants for a much cheaper price from depositories (Military Clan).
I think that an A10F10 on 2 rings is pretty good (more than enough) enchant for a wizard. |
It's hard to sell an enchanted art in market, even for 10% cheaper than its original cost. Usually you have to make a much better discount and of course you need the artifact to be popular (a good choice for enchant, widely used art). On the other hand, people rent such artifacts in about +20% from MC depositories. The theory being practiced in this poor virtual world is : "I can't afford a brand new car, so I'm gonna rent one". |
Long talk being short : It's cheaper to enchant a new one, you even get gold from the enchanter as a gift in most cases, but when you'll want to get a stronger art to enchant, you'll have troubles selling the old one. But whatever, you can always play with low-level enchanted arts, won't make much difference in combat, enchants are strong on their own. |
Enchants are a luxury good; given your treasury, I would spend my gold on something else. I would add indeed to what Hallion said; I did choose to keep my old enchanted set now for years rather than sell it for a ridiculously low price. If I had to choose again, I wouldn't have done it: it was a waste of gold and I never really used it. Oh, I got a shiny hunt medal with it. |
for Slust:
At least you still have it after merge :D All my records were surpassed after merge. |
do you mean collecting resources for enchanting is way better than buying them on market where the dura is a lot less??
i am planning to enchant some rings and is it really going to worth it?
or joining a mc and leasing from depo is better? |
No, I don't mean that. If an art is post on market similar to the one you want to craft, usually it will be in a good price. You can use this to calculate the cost of enchants : http://hallion91.freehostia.com/EnchantCalculator.php
If the durability is a lot less, calculate the cost per battle and see if it's worth it. For enchanted arts you need to take repairing into the cost per battle, 'cause discarding enchanted arts without repair is never profitable. Here's a tool that will help you with those calculations : http://hallion91.freehostia.com/RepairCalculator.php
If you lease from a MC depository you'll pay the art at a higher price than normal, but you will never face the dilema on what to do with an unused art in your inventory. |

Not always, some MC have a much cheaper price :)
Lets assume you want to do a A10F10 enchant on a Penumbral Ring 60/60
Cost of art: ~10000
Cost of elements: ~250000
You can use this for 1422 battles, 36 repairs, (upto 0/24 durability).
this is approximately 395 gold/battle.
Now, I know an MC which rents same enchanted ring at 350 gold/battle.
(I dont intend to advertise) |
