It depends on the clan you're joining.
Some clans conduct events and if you win they may give prizes.
Its easier to find repair/enchant services(they may give discount also).
..etc etc |
First i'll talk about normal clans (Which dont give you a symbol beside yoru name)
50% of .com clans are meant for profit to the leaders. remaining 50% actually have events. Join clans which do regular events. You can earn a lot by winning these events.
Try to become a recruiter. recruiters get a good salary through recruiting.
Military Clans:-
Very useful, you get battles for facility control which provide gold and armanents. Usually, these are so interesting, MC dont have to organise anything else. |
There are Two types of clan now, Normal clan and MC ( military clan) Both have benefits depends upon they are active or not :)
You should be careful to join normal clan, because some always push you to donate gold :)

| My clan for example gathers all active members, you can search there for hunt partners, TG partners and generally people of your level who are currently online. |
IMO, normal clans are generally (like 90+% of times) scams! they're basically pyramid schemes feeding the owner of the clan and the recruiters. the services they mention is non-existent/illegal/nothing you can't get without that clan. even in the rare cases where clans are active and they try to organize events, their hands are tied by the rules.
however, it's a whole different story with MCs. join an active MC which holds a few facilities and a whole new aspect of LWM opens up to you! |
What are the benefits of joining a clan?
First thing that comes into my mind is a good smither and enchanter that you can gain access to. The second is to belong to a specific group on players with a common activity (playing tavern cards, double ambushing, clan events etc.)
PS: i won't refer to military clans since you guys already talk about them. |
