no bro read properly. robb clearly appointed jon as king of the north in a tent on the way to the frey. since he is a king he has power to remove a person from night waatch's rules and annoint him successor. but ofc when R+L=J he is king of seven kingdoms but god know where the big reed is to come up with a story.
It is too far fetched. If Dany is fire, Jon is ice. They will battle each other and not form an alliance. I think it will be Jon + Others vs Dany + Dragons.
i too got the idea especially when mel sees jon on the fire when she searched for the others.
but ur theory is good but makes dany kinda a villian or typically not hero. but the tv series clearly portray her a THE HEROINE stuff. jon is not portrayed similar great like how GRRM has portrayed in the book. in book he has been given much higher importance than in tv series. this may be a insight of the views of martin for future in books

I am on book 4 but guessed R+L = J ..but can he be king ? I mean he is his natural son, so can he claim succession to the Iron Throne ? and btw Dany must be his aunt though right ?

Nope he cannot and will not. Even if by some magical delusion, people of Westeros agree to restore the Targ Empire again even then it is next to impossible for Jon to sit on the throne. Situation would be similar to the Blackfyre rebellion with one group supporting Jon other opposing him and again this would become a reason for a war.
GRRM has to stabilize the throne and not spread further chaos. Of noble blood or not Jon is still a "..." and people of Westeros won't let him sit on the throne.
I'm a strong supporter of Dornish Masterplan so I'd say some noble lady of house Martell will sit on the iron throne.
Martells follow a different law than whole of Westeros. Their main highlight is that they treat Women = Men

Rhaegar was married to Elia Martell. So he couldn't have married Lyanna (Polygamy was last practiced 200 yrs ago). Even if he decided to restore the controversial polygamy and did marry Lyanna then who will stand up for Jon? Who are the witnesses to R+L marriage? The honorable Ned Stark is dead and nobody trusts a crannogman.

With a choice given between having Martells on the iron throne and restoring the Targs, I think it is pretty clear who they will choose. ;)
Also the commonfolk of King's Landing hate the Lannisters and the Targs already but have sympathy for House Martell ever since The Mountain confessed his crimes.
Anyways I'm more concerned about the North. The situation there is quite unstable. Everybody hates the Boltons and nobody trusts anyone.
And where the hell is the best friend of the Starks, the crannogman Howland Reed? What is he up to? Will he remain in the swamps forever or use some of his power to re-stablize the North by restoring Stark rule? |

nope moreover the winter has already risen and the boy targarean is on the run. it is quite impossible for the martell plan to succeed. though they do hav a role to play. moreover the next books will be concentrating on the north. the throne will be useless unless the others are soon stopped. only after that the question of throne arises nd obviously by that tie jon or dany would have established themselves enough to get throne. so obviously it is one of them.

as u can see from even ur context howland reed has a big awaiting role to play. so it is obviously gonna come in a highlight and by that time more truths would have come out. |

Howland Reed will play an important part in the future.

He's not that powerful. His crannog is his power. He can defend the gateway to the north, even Bolton had to smuggle himself into the north even though he is the Lord Paramount of the North.
Maybe he will reveal it to Sansa or Rickon.
I have a bad feeling that Arya won't make it.

He's not that powerful.
Neither is he honorable. There is more to war than just battles.
I believe he is plotting something major. And by major I mean using Magic, Warging etc. He sent Jojen and his sister beyond the wall with a mentally retarded guy carrying a cripple. Why do that?
My guess is that he wants to aid Jon in his fight against the others. And after that restoring either Bran or Rickon to the king of the North. I can't think of any other reason except this. Maybe Jojen saw the Others and BloodRaven in his prophetic dreams or maybe BR visited Jojen in his dreams and later on Jojen warned Howland about this.

Well in her dreams she sees Nymeria so technically she does have a pack of actual wolves with her :P
I didn't really think much about it. She is just reflecting the fact that her father was wrong and according to her Robb, Cat & Ned have been slained, Sansa has been taken and Bran, Rickon skinned (burned actually).
She is the only one who lives and must take revenge for them.
It was stated in AGoT that these words had a profound impact on her. So since she now seems to deny them maybe she is truly becoming no one? Or there is a shift in her way of thinking.

Who are you talking about? Aegon Targarean? There is no way to prove that he is a Targ. Varys says he is a Targ so most likely it is a half truth. He can be a Blackfyre but certainly he is not a Targ.
