I would go for Lena Headley too. And I agree Dany is in the lower bottom of actors.
Lena Headley in RL is pretty cool. I genuinley hated her but when I saw her interviews, I was like "Oh man! She is totally awesome."
Natalie Dormer is cool too.
In males best are Peter Dinklage, The hound, Samwell Tarly (stupid and hilarious), Jaime Lannister, Ser Davos, Stannis.
And for me in females Lena Headley, Natalie Dormer, Sophie Turner, Ygritte, Olenna Tyrell (she is awesome in RL, veteran actress and really Queen of thrones in RL too) and Arya.

1. Aegon's conquest
2.The Dance of Dragons
3.Blackfyre rebellion
4.Robert's rebellion
5.The existing storyline.
I think the dance of dragons was the most exciting period.So, how many of you have read about the dance of dragons? There are many add-ons to the ASOIAF series. |

BTW, I've. Also "Doom of Valaryia" is important too. It was the single greatest event which led to the current Westeros.
Also Faceless Men have their roots in Valaryia.

Dany's definitely not one of the best at acting (in fact, with all the rest of the cast being so amazing, I'd say she's probably one of the worst main characters in acting terms) and I genuinely hate her character but she's so hot.
@41, I completely agree with your list of the best in the show except that I would add Littlefinger as he's just so cunning and awesome.

Oberyn had a minor role (Good acting though)
Jon Snow is okay. He isn't that bright neither he comes at the worst. He is average (IMO considering his public appearances as well). He doesn't have to act, he comes on the show and acts like he does IRL (stupid, knows nothing, stares blankly, decent sense of humor, acts timid around strangers etc etc). He just has good looks.
Also I'd add Ned Stark and my favourite : Robert (God bless his laugh)
A Lannister. Lancel, Gods what a stupid name. Who named you? Some old hag with a stutter?
His and Ned's scenes were and are my favourites. I laugh uncontrollably everytime. xD |

I was rewatching some of S01's episodes and guess what? I believe LF knows Varys' intentions. Meaning LF plays an even greater role in the story than initially suspected.
HOLY HELL!
Imagine Vale, Casterly Rock, Highgarden and North teaming up against the spider and the golden company. :O
Note the conversation where Varys' and LF blackmail each other and call themselves friends. Episode where Ned declines having any part in killing Dany and leaves his badge there on the small council table. |

LF is more open about his plans to rule the Iron Throne in the show apparently than his enigmatic self in the books.and Varys hates LF o.O

I hardly think LF wants to rule. He is content with actually outsmarting everyone and is wise enough to know there's nothing in ruling but hate, responsiblities and ultimately untimely death.
The thing I like about LF and Varys' is that when they talk to each other, they are not being themselves rather imitate each other.
Varys : "I want to do good for the realm"
LF : "Chaos is a ladder."
But if we move deeper we actually find LF is the face of Merchant class and actually intentionally or unintentionally is the strongest supporter of "One who is talented must get the job."
Varys on the other hand also supports talent but condones merchant and especially money (Afterall merchant got his peepee). He instead wants to establish capable Monarchs.
LF wants to change the medieval system to present day pre modern democratic system (where merchants have the power and not kings.)
Now looking at our own past we can safely say pre modern democratic system is multiple times better than monarchy in the long run.
So who actually is stablizing Westeros?
