Whenever I try to buy diamonds using my credit card, There appears a message saying-"You can't use this debit/credit card for this payment. Please try with another card."
I can't find any reason why this happens:/
Please help me.

As far as i know some credit card's of certain countries doesn't allow international payment~
Some of my friend's are indian , they tried to donate using mastercard,visa and all of them got the same message |

After all the frantic phone calls to the banks helpline and lots of visits to the amazon customer care i amhere, hope i get help.
well here it goes .... i have placed an order here amounting to $66.62.
now i have a international debit card issued by HDFC bank india, net banking works fine for ebay. but wheni tried to pay using the card i get a message from amazon saying the payment could not proceed due to one of the following reasons- bank refused payment- check card expiry..etc etc
i got in touch with the bank and they asked me to get my card verified by visa etc-- did that- and it didi not help.
next they advised me to reset my bank password - didi that too but did not help.
now i was advised to delete my card details and shipping details from amazon and re enter the details - did that still nothing.
So what do i do now, has anyone had the same problem while trying to pay for a item in amazon using a international debit card issued by HDFC bank, india?
I am facing a similar issue since two days. Amazon doesn't fully support debit cards issued from India. Reason being following: Amazon doesn't support cards which require a user to enter either a CVV or a password for verification for an online purchase. This is a very common trend in India, am not sure how it works in US of A. I have already sent feedback regarding this to Amazon but found on many public forums that lots of people face similar issues. It is not an issue with the bank. I am still trying to find a way to make the payment, have tried a 3rd credit card this time, lets see if I am lucky.

| If You have internetbank , log in and active ur card as safe to buy in internet! if not then its Banks issue's |
| call your credit card customer service. I tried to donate through my Amex card and was declined. I called my credit card bank and they say the merchant does not accept Amex. So I switched to Mastercard (still in the "American Express" section), and it went through without problem. |
